A Modular kitchen at your home has three main areas where most of the activities happen:
- - Cooking area (hob, oven and microwave),
- - Washing area (the sink)
- - Storage area (cupboards, fridge and freezer).
These three critical areas create the work area in your kitchen. It is very important to optimize this area, where most of the tasks are done daily in the kitchen. Ideally, none should be more than two or three steps away from each other. As a general rule, the distance between the three areas of the kitchen work triangle is between 5 to 8 ft. If the distance is too small, the kitchen can feel cramped, and if too large, it makes the cooking process tedious. Keeping the right distance cuts down on wasted steps and makes the kitchen easy to use and efficient.
